Settings Shortcuts
Add one-tap shortcuts to Android system settings and app shortcuts to any page.
What are Settings Shortcuts?
Settings Shortcuts are tiles that jump straight to a useful destination — a Tree Launcher screen, one of your default apps, or a specific Android settings screen like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Display — without digging through menus. They behave like any other item, so you can place them on any page and reorder them in Edit Mode.
Adding a Settings Shortcut
- Enter Edit Mode and tap +.
- Choose System.
- Pick a shortcut from the System Shortcuts sheet, which has three sections:
- Tree Launcher — shortcuts to app screens: App Settings and the Recycle Bin.
- Default Apps — shortcuts that launch your default Phone, Messages, Browser, Email, Contacts, Calendar, Maps, Gallery, Music, and Files apps.
- Settings — shortcuts that open Android settings screens directly.
Tapping the tile opens that screen or app immediately.
Available Settings shortcuts
All Settings, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Data Roaming, Date & Time, Display, Language, Location, Security, Sound, Network, Battery Saver, and Device Info.
Availability depends on your device and Android version — some manufacturers restrict or relocate certain settings screens. If a shortcut doesn't open, that screen likely isn't exposed on your device.
App shortcuts
Many apps publish their own shortcuts (for example, "New message" or "Search"). To use them, swipe an app from right to left on a page to open its shortcuts bottom sheet, then:
- Tap Launch to open the app,
- Tap any listed shortcut to jump straight into that action, or
- Tap the info icon in the corner to open the app's Android App Info page.
The swipe works on app items you've placed on your pages; it isn't available in the Apps list itself.
App shortcuts require Tree Launcher to be set as your default launcher; otherwise Android won't share them. If the sheet shows a warning icon, the app either publishes no shortcuts or Tree Launcher isn't the default launcher.
