Customization

Personalize Tree Launcher with themes, colors, fonts, icon packs, backgrounds, and headers.

Themes

Tree Launcher supports light and dark themes:

  1. Go to Settings → Appearance → Theme
  2. Choose Light or Dark

Accent Colors

Set a custom accent color that appears throughout the app:

  1. Go to Settings → Appearance → Accent Color
  2. Pick your preferred color

The accent color is used for highlights, active states, and interactive elements across the app.

Background Colors

Customize background colors at two levels:

Global Background

Set a default background color for all pages: 1. Go to Settings → Appearance → Background 2. Choose your color

Per-Page Background

Override the global background for individual pages: 1. Open the page's settings 2. Set a custom background color or image

Background Images

Use custom images as page backgrounds:

  1. In a page's settings, choose Background Image
  2. Select an image from your device's gallery
  3. The image is displayed behind your page content

Icon Packs

Tree Launcher supports multiple icon sources:

  • System icons — Default Android icons for installed apps
  • Material Design icons — Built-in Material icon set
  • Third-party icon packs — Any icon pack installed from the Play Store

Changing Icon Packs

  1. Go to Settings → Appearance → Icon Pack
  2. Select from available icon packs

Custom Item Icons

You can also override icons on individual items:

  1. Focus an item in Edit Mode
  2. Open item options
  3. Tap Icon
  4. Choose a new icon from the available icon sources

Per-Item Colors

Color individual items for visual organization:

  1. Focus an item in Edit Mode
  2. Open item options
  3. Tap Color
  4. Choose a background color for that item

This is great for color-coding categories, priorities, or simply making key items stand out.

Home Header

The home page has a customizable header area:

Clock Display

By default, the header shows a clock. You can configure the clock display style in Settings → Appearance → Clock Display.

Header Height

Adjust the header height to show more or less of the header area: - 25% of screen - 33% of screen - 50% of screen

Widget Stack Header (Pro)

Replace the default clock with a scrollable stack of Android widgets. See Pro Features.

Weather on Header (Pro)

Display current weather information in the home header. See Weather.

Font Selection (Pro)

Choose from 65+ font families to customize the look of all text in Tree Launcher. See Pro Features.

Font Size (Pro)

Adjust the text size across the app — Small, Medium, or Large. Free users are locked to Medium. See Pro Features.

Icon Size (Pro)

Adjust the icon size across the app — Small, Medium, or Large. Free users are locked to Medium. See Pro Features.
